Emily Weems, LCSW-S
Emily Weems, LCSW-S, is passionate about helping adults and adolescents get relief from debilitating fears/anxiety and fully show up in their lives. She specializes in using exposure-based therapies, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy. Her clinical interests focus on OCD, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, and anxiety disorders.
Ms. Weems received her training from Baylor College of Medicine, treating complex, co-occurring trauma and mood disorders in underserved populations. She is an ardent supporter of decreasing mental health stigma, especially in marginalized communities.
