While in residency, Clark continued to work on her “I Dream of Irene” series. Clark used different techniques to incorporate Irene into each piece of the series, such as photo transfer to cotton fabric using various processes: dying, printing, and silk screening fabrics. “As an artist, I’m not only interested in the techniques and materials of art quilting, but also the psychological, spiritual and physical therapeutic benefits of hands-on crafting.”
